  Basi L'Gani

In honour of the auspicious day of Yud Shevat, the Chassidus curriculum at the Rabbinical College incorporated two Maamarim (Chassidic Maamarim) entitled Basi L’gani. One major recurring theme of these discourses is that G-d views our world as His garden. What does this mean?

CGI Melbourne is a fortnight-long summer camp organized by Chabad Youth, and staffed by the Shluchim and students of the Rabbinical College, who serve as counsellors and learning teachers, or function in other camp roles.   Yud Shevat at Yeshivah Gedolah  
  Yud Shevat Campaign

The 10th of Shevat is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn, and the day that the Rebbe signaled his formal acceptance of the leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch. The Shluchim at the Rabbinical College launched a Mivtzah (campaign) designed to encourage the students in their preparations for this special day.

  Update: Rambam 7:40  
  Rambam Campaign

“Rambam 7:40” is a club founded by Shluchim in order to encourage Yeshivah students to learn the daily quota of Mishneh Torah. This past week, close to 20 students successfully completed one month of Rambam, and celebrated their achievement with a special Shiur and barbecue held at the Joseph residence.
