Students have been spreading the message and joy of the Chanukah Festival across Melbourne, from Bentleigh to Bayside, Caulfield to Carnegie, and Moorabbin to McKinnon - to name just a few.

  Menorah Parade  
  Chanukah Parade

Tuesday evening, the seventh night of Chanukah, saw close to forty cars form a Car Menorah Parade through the streets of Melbourne, publicizing the miracle of Chanukah. The Parade drove through many major shopping strips and public areas, drawing much attention from pedestrians and other vehicles alike. Menorah Kits were distributed throughout the Parade, in addition to the joy that was generated by the spontaneous dancing.

Join Yisroel Leib Lester and Levi Gross as they report on their Mivtzoim activities in the CBD, culminating in several inspirational encounters in Federation Square. Join Akiva Vallins as he conducts an impromptu Bar-Mitzva for a newly discovered Jew.

Join Menachem Mendel Gourarie as he recounts how he arrived with a set of Chanukah candles just in the nick of time!

The Rabbinical College of Australia & NZ publishes a periodical containing Torah thoughts and insights.

 

The most recent edition was published in honour of 19 Kislev, and the next issue is currently being prepared in honour of the 10th of Shevat.

  Chanukah in the Park  
 

At Chanukah in the Park, our students distributed Menorah kits to hundreds of people, and helped many men lay Tefillin. The students also staged a brilliant Chanukah play at the park, depicting the story of Chanukah and the victory of the Maccabees.
